Educators, Parents, And Students Can Now Video Chat With SchoolStatus’ Enhanced Capabilities

SchoolStatus now has a live video chat component for its schooling communication stage with an end goal to further develop student results with simpler educator and parent correspondences and sharing of learning data.

This new video chat, opens the door to 1:1 visual learning or discussions among instructors and parents or students, with picture-in-picture video. It is possible to enable the video chats by text or email. Users do not have to have any additional program.

According to SchoolStatus, there is atomic logging of video chat details. They record them, and post them for on-demand viewing from inside the SchoolStatus student history.

As part of future improvements to the Video Chat, it will be possible for several users to correspond live with videos for IEP gatherings, parent-instructor gatherings, and other education based gatherings, as well as multi-client booking, screen-sharing, attendees chat, meeting recordings available as well as optional transcription in keeping with regulations.

Accordiing to Russ Daved, CEO of SchoolStatus, “Having the ability to save a recording and transcript of the video chat directly to the SchoolStatus student record is a first in the industry, and will help support transparency and accountability.”
